MANITOWOC, Wis.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Orion Energy Systems, Inc. (NYSE MKT: OESX), a leading power technology enterprise, announced today that it has expanded its Board of Directors from eight to ten members, with the appointment of Kenneth L. Goodson, Jr. and James D. Leslie as independent directors.

Kenneth L. Goodson, Jr. is currently the Executive Vice President of Worldwide Operations for Herman Miller Inc., and expects to retire to special projects with Herman Miller Inc. in June 2013. In addition, Mr. Goodson has been a member of the Fender Musical Board of Directors since 2006, and currently serves as the Chair of the Personnel Committee and has served on the Audit Committee. Mr. Goodson graduated from The Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Science in Administrative Management.

James D. Leslie is currently the Executive Vice President of Strategy and Business Development for Datalink Corporation, a national systems integrator of virtual data center and cloud consulting, technology and professional services. Mr. Leslie expects to retire from Datalink Corporation at the end of June 2013. Prior to joining Datalink Corporation, Mr. Leslie served as Chairman and CEO of Midwave, an IT services company founded by Mr. Leslie. Mr. Leslie graduated from the University of California, Berkeley.
